Terrace – BarracudaRMX

In 2006 Dutch Composer Jacob ter Veldhuis created a song for the Tromp festival, a yearly music celebration that involves percussion. the Barracuda song revolves around the Marimba as centralised instrument and tells a story over 16 minutes long. Terrace remixed his composition using synthesised marimba, percussion, drums, basslines, pads and melodies and it was played at the dance night called ‘Zintuig’ (which means Sense) on the 7th of October 2006, accompanying this festival amongst other remixes, lights, a moving dance floor and surround sound system.
